I've been scheming about building a CNC router for quite some time, but
a) Time is in short supply because the shop is so busy, and
b) honestly the electronics were a little intimidating.
With a nudge from John at NYC CNC, I bit the bullet and constructed my first CNC. After staring at the components and designing it in my head for a number of hours, it was easy enough that I'm quite confident that I can vault a few levels up and start a larger CNC router (and possibly plasma cutter someday) project for the shop.
